This week you will start off by writing about the movie Oliver Twist. I want you to include some facts about Charles Dickens in your essays. You will find more information about him here:

After that you will write another essay and you can choose between the subjects "A fantastic day" and "Country life or city life". I'm afraid you can not use your computers at all this time. You have to write the essays by hand and you must use an ordinary dictionary - not google translation.

8A - Of mice and men
Hi!
On Thursday and Monday next week we will watch the movie "Of mice and men". You will also see your own version of the story. You'll see some great acting there!
After watching the movie you will have a written assignment which you have to hand in on Wednesday week 13. Don't forget to write about the movie "Bully" too.

7A, 7B - Podcast
Hello again!
I hope you all had a good rest. We will start off the week by taking a look at the podcast-function on your computers. Your verbal assignment this week is to make your own radio show.
First of all you have to decide what you want to discuss. This time you can choose your own subject. (You could, for example, discuss new games, how they function and even grade them.) Make notes on what you want to include in your discussions. One of you can be the host of the show. Well, I'm sure you will find lots of interesting subjects. If not - ask me.
You can work with your podcast during all my lessons this week (and Wednesday afternoon) and airdrop it to me by the end of next week. The program should not be longer than 20 minutes.

8A - "Of mice and men" and "Bully"
Hello again!
Welcome back from your break! I hope you had a good time and that you are ready for new projects.
This Monday we will carry on "shooting" scenes for our own movie "Of mice and men". All scenes will be shot in our green screen studio - (or green screen cupboard if you prefer...). We have to finish shooting the movie by the end of the week as you will need the cameras for other projects in art/music.
While you wait for your turn to act, you will the watch the documentary "Bully". After the documentary you will be given a written assignment.

You'll be happy to hear that you will not receive any more homework before your vacation. We will carry on working with "project Britain" and assignment after that will be to choose a city in the UK and create your own travel brochure.
