8a, 8b - Create your own English blog
Hi everyone!
The remaining weeks we are going to work with blogs. You are going to create your own English blog on Blogger and you will fill the blog with your own video-clips, photos, different types of texts. You will start off by designing the blog and making a video-presentation of yourselves.
Your blog can be private and you choose the readers. I will show you how to do this during our next lesson.
Here are the instructions for creating the blog and the first assignment.

9A - Holes
Hi everyone!
It's so great to be back after the Christmas break, don't you think? I have to say you did a great job on the video recording of "Reply to China". I've edited the video and hopefully the Chinese students will see it before their winter break begins. Hopefully we will receive other videos from around the globe this spring!
On Tuesday we'll start reading a book called "Holes" by Louis Sachar. I'm sure you'll love it! Before we start reading we will take a look at some of the vocabulary from chapter 1 - 7, and you will also discuss some of the topics in the book. After we've read the first seven chapters you will have some written and verbal assignments to do. I will add them as links in this blog.
That's all for now. Have a great week!

8A - Ireland and a new chapter!
Hello!
I've sent all your letters to your pen pals in Tubbercurry, Ireland so keep checking your mailboxes for answers. I want you to keep in touch with your new pals by emailing them, you can also add them to snapchat, Facebook etc. Eventually we will schedule a time when you can talk to them through Skype.
We will take a closer look at Ireland this week. Download the questions and find out more facts about Ireland. Add some lovely pictures of Ireland in your fact sheet.

We will also work with a new section in our textbooks/workbooks called Crime. You'll have a written test on Thursday week 5. Here are the words:
